WHO ARE WE?

We are a team of crafters and designers committed to the creation of 100% handmade hammocks.

As young girls, we were introduced to the Wayuu tribe. We fell in love with their diverse, rich, and colorful culture in addition to their weaving skills.

We started our career as fashion designers, working in different companies for over 10 years. After gaining experience in the corporate world, we felt the need to create our own project.

We realized that our fashion design background and the Wayuu crafting tradition could make a great team and produce amazing Luxury Hammocks.

Currently, we develop authentically handcrafted hammocks, while incorporating design trends, as a result, our hammocks have a modern take on heritage with a meaningful story behind it.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

We forged a relationship with Wayuu artisans to produce Luxury Hammocks: The partnership ensures high-quality hammocks made with the love, care, and attention.

the Wayuu people breath into their personal garments and are very proud of their heritage.

Subsequently, we discovered other techniques and crafters, therefore we expanded into other regions of Colombia designing more styles of 100% handcrafted hammocks.

The stunning craftmanship displayed by this crafters was propably born with the Zenú or Sinú, an Amerindian tribe in Colombia.

¨Similar to the Wayuu weaving tradition, artists in Sucre take pride in the techniques used to produce hammocks that will last a lifetime.¨

Each hammock tells a story of love and passion, composed through the hands of the artists who tightly lays each strand of yarn next to the other and becomes a beautiful hammock.

Dedication is engraved into each string of the hammock’s fabric. Most importantly, this contributes to the livelihood and sustainability of communities where people’s jobs are threatened by manufactured goods.
