The Amapola hammock is woven in the style of a “chinchorro”. A large sleeping hammock with an airy crisscross weave that cocoons you. A perfect fixture inside the house or on the porch for afternoon siestas. Like for the Wayuu people, this hammock will be your most prized item in your home.

The skirt (bottom section) is a series of detailed patterns drawn together using a crochet technique. Each hammock takes up to seven months to craft. Your hammock is a symbolic piece of Wayuu art created with dedication, and its high quality ensures that it will last a lifetime.
